ACT/Pre-ACT
Pre-ACT for 10th grade students
West Jordan High School is pleased to offer the PreACT free of charge to all 10th grade students.
The PreACT will be given Wednesday, November 12 at 7:30 am.
- It will be a regular school day for 10th graders and we anticipate that all students will attend.
- Students must bring a picture ID (Student ID or Driver’s License) and a fully charged school issued Chromebook.
- If a student arrives without a Chromebook, they will not be able to test.
- Calculators will NOT be provided for the students. They may bring their own approved calculator.

- Alphabetical rosters of students and their assigned testing room will be posted in the Main Office hallway by November 7th.
- Please note students may NOT use their cell phones or any other personal electronic devices during the exam.
Schedule:
Morning buses will pick up students from regular bus stops at regular times
- 7:30 am – 10:30 am: PreACT Testing
- 10:30 am – 11:10 pm: Lunch
- 11:10 am: Buses will return students home on regular bus routes
ACT for 11th grade students
West Jordan High School will be hosting the ACT for Juniors on Tuesday, March 10th.
In preparation for the ACT, WJHS will be hosting after school review sessions with teachers. The in-person reviews will be held in the Media Center from 3-3:45pm on the following dates:
- TBD - English/Test Taking Skills
- TBD - Science
- TBD - Math

Additionally, the official ACT website has free test prep materials for online practice, including: study guides, individual subject practice questions, practice tests, and other online classes.
